Seydou Keita arrived this morning at Barcelona’s El Prat airport and made his first comments about his signing for FC Barcelona to Barça TV... “I’m very happy because Barça is a big club,” said the Mali international. “My decision is very important because I had offers from lots of clubs, but I’ve liked Barça for a long time.”

Works a lot and says little

One of Keita’s characteristics off the pitch is, according to the player himself, that he doesn’t speak much. “I don’t like talking because I don’t think you should talk too much when you’re not on the pitch,” he explained. “I only want to say that I hope to bring a lot to Barça, as I’ve done at Seville. But I don’t want to say that much because you don’t need to talk a lot in football.”
