FC Barcelona and Al Ittihad Club agreed on Thursday to postpone the friendly match that had been planned for Monday 26th in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. The match has been postponed because of the large number of Barça first team players currently unavailable, due mainly to injury.

Given the importance of the match for the local fans, both clubs have agreed to rearrange the clash for next season, when more of the main stars should be available.

The exact date of the rearranged match will be decided when the fixture schedule has been published. However, there is agreement on both sides that this will be Barça’s first overseas friendly in the season starting in September. All the conditions already agreed for the match will be maintained unchanged.
