Tests carried out on Thursday afternoon have confirmed that the Brazilian has damaged a ligament in his right knee. Club doctors estimate he’ll be sidelined for the next month.
The medical bulletin issued on Thursday afternoon by the Club’s medical services confirmed that the player has a grade 2 sprain of the internal lateral ligament of the right knee. He’ll be out of action for about the next four weeks so he’ll miss the last two games of the season against Mallorca and Murcia. 14 minutes on the pitch Sylvinho came on at half time against Real Madrid but had to be taken off after just 14 minutes after injuring himself in the incident where Valdés and Marcelo collided. |
