In the last week with no official midweek fixtures, Frank Rijkaard has decided on a training day out at the Hotel Montanyà resort on Wednesday. On Tuesday there is to be a double training session.
The Barça players have put their last League game behind them and are now turning their thoughts to the match against Zaragoza in La Romareda at 10 pm this coming Saturday, 16 February. Today, Monday, is a rest day for the team as they got back to Barcelona from Seville on Sunday and then went straight into a training session. Two more sessions are lined up for tomorrow, Tuesday 12 February, with the first at 11 am and the second at 6 pm, both at La Masia. Half day at El Montanyà On Wednesday there will be a break in the normal routine as the squad will travel to the Hotel El Montanyà resort in Seva, a town in the Montseny National Park about 40 miles from Barcelona. The resort is a popular choice for summer camps for Barça youth teams and sides from other sports sections. After arriving the first team will do some training work, followed by lunch at the Hotel and the return to Barcelona. On Thursday training will be at 11 am at La Masia and on Friday, the day before the game with Zaragoza, training will be behind closed doors. |
